Silo Energy is preparing a State Significant Development Application for a 1-Gigawatt BESS immediately adjacent to the Humelink Gugaa substation that is currently under construction.

To commence the planning process, a project scoping report was submitted to the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure in August 2025. Our expert team is currently undertaking a range of studies to look at ways to ensure the project has a minimal community impact.
